Doing something you love makes it much easier to build an operation that people can't stop talking about. Come skiing or boarding here... you'll see what we mean.
Your hosts
We are the Aubrey's. We love to ski, and enjoy our time with the many guests who join us for fun in the mountains. We have become known as one of the friendliest helicopter skiing operations around. Mark, as a senior guide, spends a fair amount of time in the mountains, while I (Regina) am most often at the lodge, ensuring that all is in order.
Mark and I make this ski paradise home, and are raising our daughter Bryna here. We consider Crescent Spur Heli-Skiing a lifestyle choice. We feel privileged to live in such a beautiful environment, and are eager to share it with others.
History
Mark and I have been working in the ski industry since the late seventies, but it wasn't until 1987 that our dream of a world-class heli-ski operation started to come together.
Raised in Crescent Spur, Mark was well aware of the mountains' potential for great skiing; however, as we built our private lodge and explored the area more, we were thrilled by the quality of snow and skiing. Every year we explore the area further, and find new and exciting runs.
Our love of quality service and unforgettable skiing has provided many guests with life-long memories. Our success is best illustrated in our many repeat visitors.
"Dear Mark and Regina,
I have skied all over the world amd continue to focus on the best overall
skiing experience I can find. I have returned to Crescent Spur for seven
years in a row, and will continue to do so. I have yet to find a nicer group
of people, more accommodating hosts, more comfortable lodging, or better
skiing conditions (much less all in one place), than I consistently experience
at Crescent Spur. Your passion shows. See you this winter!!
Love, Gov"
Guides
All of our guides are certified to meet or exceed the qualification requirements of our industry's professional association. They have extensive experience in backcountry skiing, avalanche forecasting and safety. They also have a knowledge of first aid, mountain rescue, and group management skills.
Guest safety is of primary importance to all of us at Crescent Spur Heli-Skiing. Our guides are constantly making assessments and decisions that take into account the safety and comfort of both individual skiers and the group. Please follow their instructions.
All skiers must wear avalanche transceivers and you will be trained in their use.
